When you first visit EarSense, your practitioner will make sure that they get to know you and your needs and goals so that they can help you achieve optimal hearing.
Preparing for Your Appointment
For your first appointment with us, bring any previous hearing test results with you. This will help your audiologist or hearing instrument specialist determine whether your hearing has recently changed, or if it has remained stable.
It may help to bring a friend or family member with you to your appointment to take notes during your hearing consultation. There will be lot of information to absorb during this consultation, and four ears are better than two!
What To Expect During Your First Visit
When you come in for your first visit, we’ll take some time to get to know you and learn about your hearing journey. We’ll chat about your hearing history, any situations where you’ve noticed challenges, and what you’re hoping to achieve from your visit with us.
Our goal is to make you feel comfortable, heard, and supported — right from the start.
A Comprehensive Hearing Test
The hearing assessment portion of your appointment will take approximately half an hour, depending on your type and degree of hearing loss.
Schedule a Hearing Aid Fitting
We'll discuss the different types of hearing aids available; the pros and cons of the different makes and models, and which one we recommend for you.
